Toros Gönen Yenilenebilir Enerji is one of the subsidiaries of Toros Tarım, which mainly operates in the field of plant nutrient production. Possessing 38% of the total installed fertiliser production capacity regarding agricultural fertilisers in Turkey, Toros Tarım is Turkey’s largest fertiliser producer in terms of production and market share. Ranking 57th on Istanbul Chamber of Industry’s “Turkey’s Top 500 Industrial Enterprises 2020” list, Toros Tarım is also the leader of export sales in the sector.

The company continues its chemical fertiliser production in its three factories in the cities of Ceyhan, Mersin, and Samsun. Toros Tarım, which presented its first organomineral fertiliser product to farmers in 2017, has become one of the most important players in the organic and organomineral fertiliser markets with the acquisition of Gönen Yenilenebilir Enerji in 2019 and the launch of Meram Yenilenebilir Enerji in 2020.
