(Anadolu Ajansı) Gönen Enerji, acquired by Toros Tarım, signed a share purchase agreement to acquire the shares of Altaca Meram Yeşil Enerji Üretim A.Ş.
Gönen Enerji, of which Toros Tarım acquired 70 percent of its shares with the aim of becoming an important player in the organic and organomineral fertiliser markets, signed a share purchase agreement to buy the shares of Altaca Meram Yeşil Enerji Üretim A.Ş.
In a release by Toros Tarım, it was stated that Toros Tarım has broadened its investments in organic and organomineral fertilisers in line with the principle of providing all kinds of fertilisers that farmers need.
Gönen Yenilenebilir Enerji Üretim A.Ş., which Toros Tarım took over 70 percent of its shares in the first half of the year, will take over Altaca Meram Yeşil Enerji Üretim A.Ş in two stages since the company has the necessary licenses and permits to establish a facility in order to produce 75 thousand tonnes of solid organomineral fertilisers and 15 thousand tonnes of liquid fertilisers per year with its 6 MW power generation facility located on the estate it owns.
The share purchase agreement between the two companies was signed in the attendance of Hakan Göral, Vice President of Tekfen Holding Agri-Industry Group and Chairman of Toros Tarım, and Alper Önoğlu, Chairman of the Board of Altaca Holding. With the signing of the contract, 10 percent of Altaca Meram Yeşil Enerji Üretim A.Ş.’s shares in the first stage were transferred to Gönen Enerji. The transfer of the remaining shares will be completed after receiving the government’s permission and fulfilment of the terms.
